join us in Serving our church family
We have several families here at Immanuel that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to do their fall clean-up in preparation for winter. We want to bless and encourage them by raking theirs leaves! This is a great way for the body of Christ to care for its members, and it brings to mind the words of the Apostle Paul to the church in Galatia.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of Faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10)
We’ll meet at IBC on Saturday November 12th @ 8:30am; we will split into two groups and head to our first two houses. The leaders will be in contact with each other throughout the day as we move from house to house, and we will meet up at the last house as a large group to finish off the day. We will end at the Glupker’s house and have lunch before heading back to IBC. I expect to be done by early afternoon.
