IBC Ministry Update 3.16.20

IBC Ministry Update 3.16.20

Dear Immanuel Family,

It is amazing how quickly matters can change. This past Sunday (March 15) we were prepared to roll out updated information on our staff search, our projected missionary expansion, our present missionary projects, and our facility completion budget and needs. As the church didn’t gather, that information wasn’t shared. Now we are working on plans to simply continue our ministry to one another in the midst of extraordinary upheaval. (See the end of the email for a way to serve each other.)

Our immediate plans moving forward are:
Please go here for a change to the plans below.

We are planning on three separate services this coming Sunday, March 22—8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM. The 9:30 service will be Livestreamed.

The services are assigned by our established Community Gathering ministry. These Sunday services are for those who are healthy and in compliance with CDC guidelines and recommendations. Please be thoughtful to our church family and stay home if you are not well.

Giving

Please be reminded that our regular giving to the Lord and the work of the ministry supports the church, numerous local ministries, and global missionaries and missionary works. Conclusion

We will endeavor to keep you informed. We realize that communications are changing rapidly, dramatically, and with little notice. We appreciate your patience as we work through this together.

We conclude this update with the benediction given at the close of 2 Thessalonians:

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
