In Person Ministry Update

In Person Ministry Update

November 20, 2020

Dear Immanuel Bible Church family,

The cases of COVID-19 have significantly increased in our local area. We have a growing number of people in our church family who have tested positive. We have a growing number of people who have been in close proximity with the virus. What follows is our immediate response to the conditions at hand. Please be thoughtful, considerate, prayerful and responsible as we walk through this season together. Those who are presently ill and experiencing the symptoms of the virus would appreciate your prayers.

We will be gathering this Sunday for worship (9:00 and 10:30 AM).  It is expected that only people who are healthy, symptom free, low risk, and who have not had contact with COVID-positive people be in attendance. We anticipate attendance to be significantly impacted due to the number of IBC family members who have tested positive or have been in close proximity with those who have. The nursery and children’s rooms will be available for use, but will not be staffed. We ask for family groups to please sit together and for social distancing guidelines to be observed in the foyer. The Sunday morning sermon will be available online along with the recommended music selections for those unable to attend. The parameters we set forth as we resumed in-person gatherings remain in place. Ministries where food is served will be suspended until further notice.

We are implementing these changes, and reminding you of these things, as we desire to serve the Immanuel Bible church well. We are looking forward to the day when we gather unhindered and in perfection.

Blessings and peace,

The Elders of Immanuel Bible Church
